Tennessee is known for its soulful delta,
storytellers, Jack
Daniels Whiskey and Old Hickory himself, but, in the heart of Music Row
is
another Tennessee original, Kellie Montana. Kellie is a painter who
brings her
artistic view to her work as a stylist. She “makes people pretty”
styling hair
and makeup for clients ranging from local professionals to locally
recognized
faces. Her work as a style consultant led her to factories in south
China and
her work in fine art let her to Italy.
Although she has traveled the world, Kellie is a
down to
earth country girl, whose favorite activities are camping, hanging out
with her
pup, Catfish, and enjoying time with friends and family. But, whether
she’s
camping or advising a client on how to incorporate art into every aspect
of
life, she brings style, flair and fun to the table.
Her philosophy? Anyone
can be an original. Her
mission in life is to see the beauty in life, to help her clients see
their own
radiance, and to make beauty visible in her paintings. Her view is
expressed in
extraordinary renderings of the ordinary: guitars, boots, houses, and of
course, flowers. For Kellie, there is no such thing as a “common” still
life.
Her eyes see and her fingers present what, for some, may seem mundane,
into a
wonderland presented with style and flourish, spiced with whimsy.
